    scroll toggle (xp)

I have worksheets that are using about 100-300 rows. the scrolling toggle on the left side of the screen is tiny and thus very sensative to the point where i cant utilize it. the worksheet goes into the thousdands for rows and i dont know how to get rid of this so the toggle is at a managable size for my data. thanks for all the help

You need to reset the last cell.

1/ Select all of the rows below your last row (If your last row is row 300 then press F5 and then type 301:65536 in Reference field and press OK)
2/ Select Edit>Clear>All from the menus
    3/ Select Edit>Delete
    Repeat the above for columns
    Finally save the file.

Tony has already given you an excellent suggestion. If you need to do this often, or for many workbooks, you can use code such as provided in <post#=133055>post 133055</post#> (and in the post linked from there) to automate the process.
