Access & Quick Books (Access 2000)

Has anyone worked with Access and QuickBooks? I currently have a data base that I am designing that lists the customer, check number, date, and check amount. Then I have to rewrite the same data in QuickBooks. Is there a way to transfer the data from Access to Quickbooks without retypeing all the data? Thank you.

I don't know the answer to the question, but have a look at <post#=128431>post 128431</post#>. Also use the search feature in this lounge and search for quickbooks and access.

It looks like QuickBooks happily imports data from Excel - so you may want to look at exporting the date from Access to Excel as a first step. HTH

You might also check out <post#=318683>post 318683</post#> and <post#=294177>post 294177</post#> which talks about using the QuickBooks ODBC driver - with limited success. Another thread starts with <post#=303555>post 303555</post#>.
