    OpenFileDialog problems VB.NET (English)

    Hello, I'm creating an app which shows an OPENFILEDIALOG window. Even if I tell it to go to a specific drive and directory by setting it in the ...OpenFileDialog1.InitialDirectory = "C:" it doesn't change to the directory I specefied.

    It seems to defalut to the last location where I have last opened a file.

    Would I have to reset the InitialDirectory property somehow before my program ends ?

    Does anybody have a solution to what seems like a simple solution which I can't solve ?

    Thanks in advance

    the only way I have found is to set the system directory then use inital directory

    System.Environment.CurrentDirectory = mypath
    openFileDialog1.InitialDirectory = System.Environment.CurrentDirectory
