    Junk Mail (XP (2002))

Two legitamate email senders show up in RED like the folks added to my "junk mail" list. BUT neither email address is on the junk mail list. What can be causing this? I've checked the junk mail list several times and neither email address is there. The second occurance just started this morning with no apparent cause.

Did they set reminders on those messages and are they overdue? Someone used to do that to me occasionally.

Do you have any automatic formatting options set for the current view? Try View>Current View>Customize Current View and look under Automatic Formatting for any special font/color assigned to that sender (or a sender with a similar name).

To see if you are automatically applying color formatting, click the "Organize" button (like an all-yellow Tetris game), or Tools | Organize, then click "Using Colors" , then click on the heading "Automatic Formatting"; you will get a list of any color format that is set for specific conditions. (This is from the Outlook 2000 menus, YMMV.)

I checked. No color formatting or any other thing. I did set the formatting back to automatic. Let's hope it clears up the issue.

I checked. No color formatting or any other thing like 'overdue'. I did set the formatting back to automatic. I hope it clears up the issue.
