    Special Font (Word 2002)

I'm looking for a backward C with a Tilda above it. Can't find it in special characters? Any help???

The Arial Unicode font covers almost every conceivable character set. Is the character you want associated with a particular language (new or historical)?

You may be able to find the character you're looking for by hunting within the Unicode characters, and then taking the code point number you find to the suggested Arial Unicode font. There are "only" 65535 possible Unicode "characters" - but cheer up, many have not been defined!

(By the way the squiggle is actually spelled TILDE!)
