Lock Up XP (Windows XP Pro)

When I leave my desktop on, its locks up within 6 hours. Can any one guild me to find out why?
I have reinstalled Windows XP Pro on a new Hard Drive.

Need a little more info on this.
Does it go into hibernation or suspend modes or just plain old unresponsiveness?
Post as much detail on the problem as you can. <img src=/S/hmmn.gif border=0 alt=hmmn width=15 height=15>

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

    Tony,
    ------------------------------------------
Post as much detail on the problem as you can
    -----------------------------------------

By that I mean more detail on your system setup, hardware, what's running at the time, have you checked your system resourses..things like that.
A lot of things can lock up a system, so the more detail, the better.

Do you have Hibernation and/or any power savings turned on?

Do you leave these things open?

    - Internet connection
    - Email (and scheduled to check at various intervals)
    - Browser (with any popular portal page open)

What kind of firewall protection do you have?
