Graphing Software

Having fought through some pretty messy maths to derive some equally messy equations (see <!post=Playing with Parabolas,339040>Playing with Parabolas<!/post>) I was both relieved and surprised to find Advanced Grapher to graph the complex curves for me. It's lightweight yet powerful and is up to some pretty complex tasks. Lots to like in its feature list - particularly relevant to loungers are:

Hi Alan,

It's a strange thing. I don't use the program much so yesterday I reinstalled to check the About section and come up with the official link. Indeed I did, and as of yesterday everything was alright. I just checked with the app and the link is correct.

BTW, I think your link does not refer to the same program, as far as I see... so you might want to try again later to see if luck changes <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

Another item I looked at briefly is GrapL (it is an upper case L). Haven't really used it much.

Hmmm, don't seem to be having luck embedding the URL.

edit: guess I was luckier than I thought; GrapL didn't seem hot in the preview window.

Thanks Fred, Not exactly what I was after, but looks interesting.
I don't know much about VML and I'm just (ever so slowly) trying to pick up on SVG. The sample plots look very nice.
