Outlook Hangs When Closing (Outlook 2000)

The closing dialog box comes up and just sits there. I can do an end task on the application at this point, but would like for it to close on it's own. Any help is most appreciated. TYVM

Re: Outlook Hangs When Closing (Outlook 2000)

    John,

All those links you supply reference Outlook 2003...I have Outlook 2000 and am having the same problem as the original poster of this thread. I'm not using PST files and "Detect & Repair" isn't an option under 2000.

If my PDA is connected at the time I shut down Outlook, it will close properly. But if the PDA is not connected, I'll have to 'end task' to get rid of Outlook.

Everything worked fine until I got a PC at home that has XP. After I connected to my work mailbox from my home PC (via dialup), Outlook won't shut down from any 2000 PC I use here at work.

If you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate them!

    Sue
