    Outlook Contacts (Outlook XP)

2 of us use the same computer Windows XP Professional, Office XP. For email purposes we use 2 users so we have 2 pst files. We want to share a common calendar and contact list. Currently all contacts are in my pst file, when my partner opens hers and tries to access the contacts to send mail they are not available. What is the best remedy? Do we have to keep 2 copies of contacts and the perils of different info?

You could either have your Contacts in a separate PST which each of you could access - or you could share the same PST (which may give rise to a separate set of "perils"). If you go for the "3rd PST" route, unless you both already have Administrator permissions, you will need to set the Win2K permissions (under right-click Sharing & Security) so that both of you have access to the file and keep the folder in a commonly accessed folder.
