NumLock Key

I am able to set up the Number Lock key to come up automatically when my computer boots up. I have Windows XP. Could someone give me directions as to how this is done in Windows 98? The Registry doesn't offer the same options for Windows 98. Thanks so much for your quick response.

Either insert a line NUMLOCK=ON in your Config.sys, or set it in the BIOS. Pressing F2 during startup often activates the BIOS configuration menu; there should be an option to set NumLock to ON.
