    Backup & Restore

I recently lost my hard drive to a virus. (It over-wrote all my data). I was running Win ME and had backed up most of my data to the old MSBackup using my Zip Drive.
Now I am running Windows 2000 Pro and backup will not restore my .qic backup files. Is there any way I can convert my .qic files to .bkf?
If not any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help - I'm very frustrated here!!

    Re: Backup & Restore

I don't know if this will help or not. This post is somewhat old, so I don't know if the link mentioned in it is working or not, or even if it works, does the solution work - I don't know. Everyone has trouble with .QIC files at one time or another. Anyway, <!post=take a look here.,180016>take a look here.<!/post>

    Re: Backup & Restore

The files saved using MSBackup MUST be restored using the SAME OS and MSBackup program that they were made with. Each OS has a different program.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
