    3D CAD - simple, free

I'm after a lightweight, free and simple (features & learning) 3D CAD or similar program. Just some basics like extrude, revolve etc. are required. It would be nice if the results could be rendered rather than just "wire frame" images. I only need this for a few drawings and don't want to make a career of it. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    Suggestions appreciated.

I don't know if "lightweight" and "3D CAD" go together well. Cheap and free 3D CAD does a comparison of applications.

Edited - Your link led me to this page. The first two items seem to fit the bill - require registration, but free, uncrippled and a few MB download size.

    Thanks Hans.
Might be a "hen's teeth" exercise, but I'll check out the site.

    cheers
