All Caps (Excel 2000 SR-1)

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a relatively quick and easy way to change text to all capital letters within a selected range in a spreadsheet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

Add this macro to a module, select the region and run the macro:

Steve

Option Explicit
Sub AllCaps()
Dim rCell As Range
For Each rCell In Selection
rCell.Value = UCase(rCell.Value)
Next
End Sub

A couple of methods

1/ Use formula =UPPER(A1)
You can then copy & paste values back onto your original range

2/ Use VBA. Instead of re-inventing the wheel and writing some VBA code there is already a free add-in that includes this option. Check out ASAP Utilities
It does what you want and a lot more.
