    Need a sound editor (2003)

I need to get snips of tracks from CD's onto a Web site. Can anyone recommend software for this purpose?

You could try audacity: fairly reliable, <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> and recommended by a number of Loungers.

    Hi Bruce,

    Here is what I'd do:

    1) Rip the CD tracks you want to feature in the site to a suitable format, in this case, MP3. You can achieve this with Musicmatch Jukebox.
    2) Grab a soft to edit MP3's and trim the parts you want to leave out. One you could use is MP3 Direct Cut.

Both apps are <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>. If you find difficulty with the progs post back.
