    Printing labels

    I have an XL2K sheet with a table. Some of the columns in this table are embedded pictures of chemical structures imported via ISIS for Excel (3rd party app from MDL). I wish to print some of the information (inc structure) in the rows onto an Avery label sheet - ie I don't wish to print every field per record (but they will be the same fields for every record) but I don't want every row printed. Also, the labels need to be printed:

    {~~~~~~} {field1}
    { picture } {field2}
    {~~~~~~} {field3}

    and not

    [ picture ] [field1] [field2] [field3]

    or

    [picture]
    [field1]
    [field2]
    [field3]

    I've tried looking at mailmerge but got totally lost.

    Any bright ideas or tips would be most welcome.

    TIA
    Gavin

    As Word is a better vehicle for merging documents and labels, it might be worth while to post the problem in the Word forum, as that is where the mail merge experts are to be found.

    Re: Printing labels

    I thought about posting in the Word forum but as the data will be in Excel and the fact I didn't really want to get into mailmerge, i thought it best to post it on this board. Then again, lack of response so far suggests I put it on both...
