    Permanantly Deleting Question (6.00.2800.1123)

I have been unable to find the setting in Outlook Express that tells it NOT to ask me if I really mean it, when I do Shift^Delete to permanantly delete a spam message. Perhaps it isn't possible in OE as it is in Outlook. Just wondering. I use OE for newsgroups, and get a lot of spam in it.

It seems that this is not possible. It may reflect a deliberate design intention - as OE is targetted at beginner users who are believed to be more likely to delete items by accident. HTH

My question is very slightly different.
I can live with the 'Do you really want to delete' question, but the default on this question (at least in my PC) is NO. Can this be changed so the default is YES?
    TIA

No, but if you use Alt+Y you should be able to dismiss it in one stroke.

From which box are trying to delete that you are getting a confirmation message?
