    XL: Remove Extra Years on Graph? (XP)

    Hello,

    As per the screenshot, you can see that XL has inserted a year to the left & a year to the right.

    But it isn't in my original data table. How can I get rid of these?

    Bob.

    Double click the category axis (x axis). In the Scale tab, set the Minimum and Maximum value explicitly.

    Alternatively, change the chart to a line chart if that is acceptable for your purposes, double click the category axis and untick "Value (X) axis crosses between categories".

    Another method (apart from Hans' suggestions) if you like the spacing of the XY scatter, is to "hide" the others:
    Dbl-click on the X-Axis - Number(tab)
    Category: Custom
    Type: (no squiggly brackets)
    { [<2003]"";[<2009]0; }
