    new user ... help (excel 2000)

    I have a huge spreadsheet that contains accounts numbers and total assets under management for each account. I need to be able to find any account greater than 300000000 and then get the total aum several rows to the right. It would also help to have all aum's then total up. Pls help.

    To get an individual one you could use SUMIF:
    <pre>=Sumif(A1:A10000,">300000000", E1:E10000)</pre>


    to sum the values in E if the values in A are > 300000000

    To do it all you might try a pivot table report (data pivot report will pull up a wizard)

    Advanced filter (data - filter - adv filter) could get you a list of unique items if that is what you are looking for also
