Form w/ 2 Subforms (2000)

Hi,
I'm not sure if this problem is with my relationships or that I just don't know how to automate. I've attached a Word document that explains in more detail what I need and shows my relationships and form. I'm trying to create a parts database. 1 machine can have many components, 1 component can have many parts. I want to be able to enter this all on 1 form. So I have a form with a subform (machine to components, 1 to many) and then another subform that is the component to parts (1 to many). Technically this all works but I need the2 subforms to automate. Meaning when I choose the first component the parts section does not move to the same component. I'm not sure how to automate this. I was trying with a macro because I'm not real familiar with VBA but I couldn't get anything to work.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Deb

Re: Form w/ 2 Subforms (2000)

Hi,
I was able to get the two subforms to synchronize using another post I found, but if anyone wants to take a look at my design and make suggestions.

Thanks,
