New MSKB releases

Just for general knowledge, the website that monitors KB releases from MS, has just posted seventy ( 70 ) new releases from Redmond. They cover a large variety of issues and platforms, from XP, 2000, Server, etc. and they describe some rather strange problems so it seems.
So, if you have been banging your head against the wall with a weird trouble, it may pay to check back into their KB site.

This handy service of KB alerts is provided by Scott Cato and you can subscribe to it at KBALERTZ
Some days you might only get one or two new ones but then you could hit the jackpot like today with 70!!

Bob,
I just ran across KBAlertz myself the other day. Looks like a great site!

Doc,

A quick search didn't reveal anything like that. I'll look further.

Thanks Bob. I'm just not sure what to make of this patch I found. All reliable sources and an MS page to download from. Just doesn't feel right.

Doc,

Looking closer revealed that the KB in question is the one I was discussing in <post#=341931>post 341931</post#> ( 829028) I installed that Ok but apparently there were others who had problems. Check out that post and the related ones.

Bob,

I had seen that post but didn't connect the dots. I thought that one was about nvidia drivers not the update. Thanks for pointing it out. Jefferson replied to my post and I think his advice is probably sound. I'm gonna firewall myself in and wait for the "Phuket Pundit" to give us the real skinny on this thing.

Thanks for takin' the time.

Kip,

Just noticed your userpic. I assume that is a Newfoundland Lab?
Did you see the Newfoundland that just win the NYC Kennel Club AKC Championship, Best in Show? It was a beautiful 155 pound male, named Josh. Really great looking dog. I like German Shepards, but that newbie was a stunner.

Hey Bob,
That's him! Josh in the flesh...err umm I mean fur.....!!! What a beautiful guy. I loved the way he barked and barked when he won. I have a friend from Wash DC who was at Westminster. Afraid I wouldn't be too impressed by all those "just like dogs only smaller", but now there's a champion I can root for!

kip,

Josh even made it to the David Letterman Late Show last night and his ownerhandler read that night's Top Ten List. ( with Josh sitting patiently by her side )

Ah, fame !!

Our last Shepard was a 101 pound female.
