    Multiply IF (2002 SP2)

I would like to do something similar to SUMIF, but I want the product of all the values that correspond to a certain attribute that is in a different column.

I am pretty sure I've seen something similar, but can't find either in Excel help or in the Lounge.

    Thanks

    Check out SUMPRODUCT

If that does not meet your requirements post back with further details of what you require. An array formula may be required.

    Check out ARRAY formulas:

Bob Umlas has a good article here and Chip Pearson has an excellent primer here

You can do it without arrays in some cases using SUMPRODUCT. There are many examples in the lounge of this, searching on "sumproduct array" will probably find some threads of interest.

Thanks! Array formulas were exactly what I needed and the Primer is excellent.
