Tab Control (Access2003 using 2000 format)

Using a tab control. I see no property for the color of the tab control? It shows up white on the normal back color of the form which looks lousy, putting that nicely. How can I make the back color of the tab correspond to the backcolor of the form. Thank you. Fay

You can only set the Back Style of the tab control to transparent, so that the Back Color of the section it sits on shows through. The tabs, however, always use the color set for 3D Objects in the Appearance tab of the Display Properties control panel. The only way to have the tabs and the background the same color is to use this system color as Back Color for the section too. The "code" for this system color is -2147483633. It will adapt itself to whatever the user has set in the control panel.

I had tried transparancy and normal and retried after your message. When viewed in 03 the tab control surface is white with either setting. When I take it to 2000 it is correctly displayed. Hummmmm.

    Thanks.

    I don't have Access 2003, so I can't help you there.
