White Space around XL Pie Chart? (XP)

Hello,

In the generated Pie Chart as shown there's a lot of white space around the pie.
I can't seem to use the Crop Tool to chop it off.
And any scaling from the edges reduces the size of the pie even more.

How can I:

a) control the size of the pie?
control the amount of white space around the pie?

Thanks,

Bob.

Start by making the chart as a whole less wide - it'll be hard to fill such a wide chart area.
Click in the white space between the slices of the pie. You will see a selection rectangle that encloses the pie. You can move this rectangle around the chart area, and you can resize it by cragging one of the corners. The rectangle will preserve its height:width ratio. If you want to change this ratio, select Chart | 3D View... and change Elevation (values are between 10 and 80.) Experiment!

Select the region outside the pie but within an imaginary "Square" that just encloses the pie shape. You should now have the "pie shape" selected and you can expand this region to fit inside the "chart space".
