saving to MyWebs (2002-sp2)
I have been using FrontPage for a long time and it has worked beautifully without my having to know much of anything. The I changed hosts for my web site. I like my new host because he is much more dedicated to making sure my site is up and running 24/7. The problem is that he doesn't approve of FrontPage and won't put the extensions on the server the way my old one would. I used to be able to change my site directly and now I have to ftp it. What I need help with is when I save the changes to my webs I have to choose whether to overwrite or use existing in the save box. If i overwrite I lose my gifs if I use existing I lose some of my gifs. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

You will also have to FTP your images. Your gifs are likely stored in the "Images" folder within the web site on your computer. You can't just simply upload the web pages, or as you are discovering, you lose your images. Upload the "Images" folder as well and you should be fine.John
