Removal of '>' in messages (Outlook 2003)

Is there a format setting to automatically remove " >" in text email messages? Is there a macro that will do this? Thanks!

There isn't a setting or option in native Outlook (through 2002). A macro could be written, but have a look at these:

I use a tool called textSOAP to clean up messages (and many other things). It does not integrate into Outlook, sadly, but it has a lot of uses that make it worth checking into.

eClean didn't seem to want to install to Outlook 2003, but that looks like the program I would want! Thanks!
