Can XL have a Cumulative Total bar? (XP)

    Hello,

The attached file has an XL table & graph.

My question is: is it possible to have another bar besides these which is a 3D Stacked, i.e. it summarises all the other columns into 1 just to show the ratios.

    Thanks,

    Bob.

Hey, a quick follow up-question: is it possible to reverse the order of the legend as it seems to be in reverse to the sequential order of items on the x-axis?

No, the legend is not in reverse. Look at the stacked column Steve created for you: the order of the colors in the legend corresponds to the order of the colors in the stacked column. If you would reverse the order in the legend, it would look very confusing.

General explanation: in mathematics, numbers increase along the horizontal (x) axis from left to right, and along the vertical (y) axis upwards. Excel adheres to this convention.

If you look at the attached screen-shot, you can see that "Apples" starts the list.

But on the legend it's on the bottom.

That's what I was hoping to get, the sequential ordering to match the table order of items.

If it can't be done, no problem.

Click on any of the series in the chart.
Select Format | Selected Data Series.
    Activate the Series Order tab.
You will see the series in the order Apples - Pears - Bananas - Mangos.
Click on Apples, then click three times on the Move Down button to make it the last series.
Click on Pears, then click twice on Move Down to make it the next to last series.
Click on Bananas, then click once on Move Down.
The series are now in the reverse order.
    Click OK.
