I have created links to databases on our mainframe using ODBC links -- Tables/New/Link/ODBC... A number of different connection types have been set up, some allowing full access while others are read-only; caching options are set or unset; etc. Is there a way to check which data source a linked table is using? Also, would it be possible to change the data source without recreating the table? Would a change to the data source properties be reflected in linked tables created previously, or in new linked tables only?

If it makes any difference, the driver being used is the Client Access ODBC Driver (32-bit), linking a Windows 98 PC to an AS/400 mainframe.
