    Windows updates as scheduled tasks

We would like to schedule Windows Updates to download and install on workstations at night because our coworkers usually ignore (auto) reminders to update. Since most updates require the system to reboot after installation, is there a way to have the system automatically shut down after downloading and installing an Windows update (perhaps through scheduled tasks)?

If not, can we set up a scheduled task on a workstation to automatically shut down the workstation every night at say 4 am?

To set up a scheduled shutdown, you'll need shutdown.exe from the W2K resource kit. See
