Sent date incorrrect on mail (2000)

When I send a message, the sent date on the message is two hours ahead of the clock on my PC. The recipient sees the correct time so this is not a serious problem, it's just REALLY annoying having to remember to subtract 2 from the hours everytime I look at a message's Sent time.

Any thoughts on how to correct this, short of reinstalling Outlook?

    Thanks,

    John.

Does the Outlook time zone set under Tools | Options | Calendar Options | Time Zone |Current TIme Zone match the setting for the PC under Contol Panel?
