    Can I disable the "Send" button?

    I have a form that collects data and saves it to a database. I want the User's to use a button "Forward to Operations" instead of the normal "Send" button. Is there anyway that I can display this button when they start/open the form?

    Re: Can I disable the "Send" button?

    Simple. In the event procedure for the Forward to... command button set a variable equal to some value (like OktoSend = True). Then in the Item_Send function, put something like the following:

    If OkToSend = False then
    msgbox "Please use the right button"
    Item_Send = False
    Exit Sub
    End If

    Make sure to declare the variable OkToSend outside of any code in your form and give it a value of False. Then set the value to true in the click event of your button.

    OKtoSend = False
    If OKtoSend = False then
    msgbox"The SEND button is disabled, Please use
    the Forward Button."
    Item_Send = False
    End If
    End Function
