    Copies of file (XP)

It's me again - and it's only been one weekend since I bugged! A co-worker sent me afile - immediately upon opening it we have 1:1 and 1:2 copies. I've had this happen B4 - never found out what does it or how to fix it.

I'm sure one of you (probably ALL of you) know about this phenom - let me in on the secret, please.

It means that multiple windows have been opened on the workbook from the Window menu. Just close one of the copies, then save the workbook, and you'll be rid of the second window.

Thanks again - It's just lovely not having to think too much - to have a host of really smart, helpful people out there in the ether willing to help us all.
