    Convert 2002 to 2000 (A 2002 & A 2000)

I've developed an application using Access 2002 that a colleague needs to use. Normally I would create an Access 2002 MDE file to send to her, but that's not an option because she has Access 2000 and Access 97. A97 is not an option because the app uses some newer features. I've converted the application to an A2000 MDB, and it runs properly on my computer under A2002 using the startup form. All looks good, except that none of the objects (tables, forms, etc) appear in the database window. Is that anything to be concerned about? Will it open properly under A2000? I would like to know if I am approaching this correctly before sending the file to her.

I would have prefered to send an A2000 MDE file, but I understand that's not an option unless I also have A2000 on my computer.

    Thanks.

That is strange. I regularly work with Access 2000 format databases in Access 2002, and all database object are visible. What happens if you change the view of the database window (List, Details, ...)?

It's true that you can't create an Access 2000 format MDE in Access 2002. Each version of Access can only create MDE's in its "native" version.

Details view show nothing. All other views appear to show all the objects (haven't checked 100%, but it looks OK).

Disregard the previous message - I created the A2000 file again, and this time the Details works perfectly.
