I just cut and paste them. If there are spaces in the URL and you use Plain Text format, surround the URL with "<>" as in <http:www.plain text format.com>

Howdee, I can paste the web pages in body of text ok - What I am looking for and forgot ! is while typing
or pasting the address - how to Auto change colour of that particular address, as opposed to the default
colour of font . ie when ya put in web page address - with the www ~ , it will auto change to a different colour . true, I can highlight it , then choose a colour . Maybe I am wrong, but seems like I used to type/paste
an addresss, hit enter and the www.woodyslounge.com would be of a different colour. Thanks ......te

Just so I understand, when you type in a valid URL, doesn't it get an underline and change color (light blue seems to be the default)? Which message format do you use: plain text, RTF or HTML?

The message I got from you, just now - had the URL in blue colour vs the other text, which was in black.
I use HTML . When I type it or paste it in body of e mail - it remains black , as does remainder of text . IT is
underlined but no different colour. Cold damp bone chillin outside - been filling up bird feeders and fingers

I don't use HTML as my mail format, so all I can say is: some font and style settings are in your stationery (if any), and these can be altered or overriden using Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts or by editing the stationery.
