Expanding Folders (Win XP SR1)

Hi everyone,

Whenever I click on a folder in Windows Explorer in the left window it displays the subfolders including ZIP-archives (in the left window), so that I get a loooong list in the window for some folders. I'd like the explorer just to show me the content of the folder in the right window and leave the directory tree in the left window as it is. If I want to expand it I'll click on the "+" in front of the folder.
Can anyone enlighten me, how to tell Windows to obeye my wish ?
