    Scan Disk~Trojans?

Press any key to continue,.. doing so will go ahead and boot the machine. All updates have been completed, this problem just recently happened, I think I may have cooties, any suggestions on finding out what? Norton Anti Virus is up to date, and detected no virus

    I suggest you run a full Scandisk from the Command prompt - see the instructions here:

    199557 - Command-Line Parameters for the Scandisk Tool

    I would run:

    scandisk /all

    and see what the result is.

    And AFTER you get finished with Leif's suggestion, check out <!post=this Star Post thread,296439>this Star Post thread<!/post> about scumware detecting software. You said something about virus protection, but AdAware and Spybot (mentioned in the thread) are excellent for finding malware on a system.
