Screen saver Shortcut (Win XP Professional)

Is there a way to create a shortcut to the current system sceen saver that was set through the Display Properties / Screen saver tab? I used to be able to do this on the old Office 97/2000 shortcut bar. I have office 2003 now and the office shortcut bar has been elminated. I have been able to set up shortcuts to each of the individual screen savers within windows but I would really prefer to set a shortcut so it would automatically bring up the system set screen saver when I click on the shortcut. Does anyone know how to do this???

Microsoft Office 2003 (Office11) doesn't contain Office Startup executable file (OSA.EXE) anymore. So, you cannot call current screensaver this way.

But, you can create shotcut(s) to screensaver(s) on your desktop. For example, to create a shortcut to Marquee screensaver, create a new shortcut and point it to C:WINDOWSSystem32ssmarque.scr (if WINDOWS is your Windows folder). To find all your installed screensavers, in Windows Explorer click View | Details, open System32 folder and on the right pane click on Type column header (files will be sorted by type). Scroll down to Screen Saver files.

As I said in my original post I have already created shortcuts to the individual screen savers as you also describe here. What I was looking for was a short cut to the current system screen saver but it looks like however they did that within the office shortcut bar is not available outside the office shortcut bar.

Take a look at this small program Wizmo. It has a command to invoke the system screen saver. plus it is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>
