    OE vs Outlook (6)

    All,

I am posting this two-part question to both the Outlook and OE forums.

Background: We are running OE6 (I think) at home on a box running XP Home which is connected via a wireless router to a cable modem and a broadband, always on connection. We have multiple environments set up on the PC for the various family members.

Part 1: I am considering switching from OE to Outlook for our email processing. What are the pros and cons of such a move? I have a vague concern that OE might be too susceptible to viruses, etc.

Part 2: Should I decide to make the switch, is there somewhere I could go to get a step-by-step set of instructions for making the transfer?

    TIA, Douglas
