    Report with 2 subreports (2000/SR1)

I have a main report with 2 subreports. (It used to have only 1 subreport, but 2 helps the report load almost instantly.)

I want to set-up the report to run based on a parameter by having the report open a form and having the user select a Project from a combo-box to indicate the ProjectID. (This behaves perfectly when there are no subreports.)

I've included the queries as a text attachement for reference with the paramter as [ProjectID: ] that I used to "test" the report with an underlying parameter query. Upon opening, the report keeps "formatting pages" and keeps running indefinitely with a parameter box popping up countless times before I gave up.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

What field are you using to link the subreports to the main reports? If it's ProjectID, then you shouldn't need the WHERE ProjectID = statement in the queries that drive the subreports.

I'm using Order to link the subreports to the main report.

Your response got me thinking so I changed the link between the reports/subreports to include both the ProjectID and Order. Now the report and its 2 subreports load fine.

    Thanks!
