Correcting the Slide Master (2000 or XP)

Is it possible to import or copy a new Slide Master to a presentation?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you need to have multiple masters in a PPT file, or do you just need to change an existing master?

For multiple masters, see the multiple masters page of my site. http://www.echosvoice.com Since you specified both 2000 and XP, it's easier for you to read the differences there than for me to try to explain them all here. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

If you just need to change an existing master, just apply a new design template. For PPT 2000, go to Format/Apply Design Template. For PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP), do this in the Design Template task pane.

You can also modify the existing master by going to View/Master and making your changes there.
