    ie toolbar (6.0)

The standard toolbar does not appear under my menu bar. I have reset it to no avail. It is checked when I look in the view menu. If I want to use it I have to pull down the double arrows next to the address bar. Finally, if I remove the address bar the standard tool bar shows up Help

Have you Un checked the "lock toolbars" before make the changes?
I assume you mean "standard buttons" when you mention standard toolbar?

    1) Press F11 to make sure you're not in full screen mode (doubt you are).
    2) Rt. click your toolbars showing and make sure you have all options enabled.
    3) As Bob says make sure they are unlocked.
    4) Start>run>type "gpedit.msc">User Config>Windows Settings>IE Maintenance>Rt.Click Browser UI>Browser Toobar Customizations on Right Pane>Properties> Makes sure button is in "Use Windows Toolbar Default Background Bit Map Entry"
    5) Run SFC System File Checker See: Post 338243: SFC First 3 Links
    5) In the registry after setting a restore point and exporting the key, deleting this key may help:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerToolbarWebBrowser

The link to Kelly's Korner is incorrect. Drop the XP from the site name so it is: http://www.kellys-korner.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Better yet, just point your browser to the main page.

    Re: ie toolbar (6.0)

I noticed that when I tried to reach the IE Toolbar fix. I had to search for it, thanks for the correction.

When I make notes about where to find certain fixes, I call the left side A and the right side B, I through this in as an aside and not relevant to the subject at hand.
