Spam blocking

The university where I'm "entombed" as a faculty member has had significant problems with spam and viruses. It was not uncommon for me to find 70-100 spam messages in my mailbox every day in spite of network firewalls and other supposed spam blockers. We just recently added the services of Barracuda Networks, and it's made a significant difference. Yesterday's log showed 28,000 messages received, 18,000 blocked as spam, 825 blocked as viruses, 3200 allowed but labeled as possible spam. This morning I found one spam message and received one other during the day. The service also allows for fine tuning by the organization administrator. It's intended for small and large businesses--an individual probably wouldn't want to pay even the entry level service of about $1200 plus the update subscription of $300 a year. Also, good reviews from other users.

By the way, I have no connection with Barracuda.

If you have "no connection" with Barracuda, then that's the obvious reason that you aren't getting any spam any longer! Or, presumably, emails!

That was going to be my next question: why am I not getting email any more? You've solved it without my asking!
