Pie Chart

I have inserted a pie chart into my report header, but the chart title overlaps one of the slice titles, and the left most slice title runs off the left edge of the chart. I've tried editing the chart, but cannot move the chart title relative to the chart. Also tried stretching the chart on the left side, but the entire chart stretches including the slice title that is cut off. Any suggestions on editing the chart

Re: Pie Chart

I've found it easiest to just build a new chart. This isn't really an Access issue, it's a Microsoft Graph issue, and there doesn't seem to be much you can do about it.

Re: Pie Chart

After a good deal of experimenting I found out that you can position the pie chart by:

1. Double clicking on the chart area to enter the chart editor.
2. Carefully click near the edge of the pie (not inside the pie) until a box appears around the pie.
3. Use the handles to size the box.
4. Place the tip of the cursor arrow on an edge of the box and you can then drag the box around in the window to change its position.

It was a struggle, but it works

Yes, Charles, that is the way to fix such Graph problems.

For a long time, I had real problems with things that were too small to select. Then one day, I found that while you are in Graph, you can use View|Zoom to select a magnification that is more appropriate.

Good Luck,
