    command bar in excel window (office xp windowsxp)

    having found numerous examples on the web with a command bar on the window i am at a loss on how to proceed in placing it there all i want to do is run a macro from it.

    If you just want a macro button, you can use the command button from the forms toolbar and add it to your worksheet.

    If you want a new toolbar button to run the macro (available to all workbooks) you can go t:
    View - toolbars - customize..
    Commands (tab)
    Categories: Macro
    Commands: Custom Button
    You can assign the macro here and change the image.
