outlook express rule filter (OE 6)

<img src=/S/disappointed.gif border=0 alt=disappointed width=15 height=15> Hi I have had 12 Netsky B and 1 beagle infected email attachments sent to me since Feb 27. Norton Antivirus deletes them right away but they are getting into my mailbox so regularly that I tried to set a message rule in OE. I clicked the box that said any emails with attachments were not to be downloaded from the server but they are still getting through. WHat am I not understanding here? If I set a rule that says no email attachments are to be downloaded why are they still getting in?
thanks for any help from anyone out there!

According to Microsoft, the attachment itself is not actually downloaded. What you are seeing on your machine is a link that will download the attachment from the server when you wish. The original idea appears to have been for you to be able to choose which computer you were on before you downloaded the message. HTH
