    Have one form wait for another form to complete (2000)

    I have a form that a user fills out to load a table. On that form I have a reload option. If the user selects the reload option I want to open another form giving them a list of previous loads so they can select the load they are replacing. I need to have the first form wait if this option is selected so the old data is deleted before the first form performs the load.

    Can anyone tell how I can make this first form wait?

    Thank you.

    Open the second form with acDialog as WindowMode argument:

    Private Sub cmdReload_Click()
    DoCmd.OpenForm FormName:="frmSecond", WindowMode:=acDialog
    ' code to reload first form goes here.
    End Sub
