    Printing Problem

Whenever I try to print e-mail(AOL 6.0) or try to print anything from IE 5.5 I get the following message (I never had this problem until today):

An Error Has Occured In The Script on This Page
    Line: 1015
    Char: 1
    Error: 0
    URL: res://C:WindowsSystemSHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dll
Do You Want To Continue Running Scripts On This Page
    Yes No

If I choose yes or no nothing happens

    Any help would be appreciated

I've never seen that one before. Have you installed any new apps, or plug-ins; or run a new maintenance procedure?

    Re: Printing Problem

    Some more information:
I went to Start|Run and typed in res://C:WindowsSystemSHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dll
the Print Preview opened and said "Error on the Page" so I went to a page on the Internet using IE5.5 and went to Print Preview. When I was in Print Preview I tried to print the page and got the following message: There was an Internal Error, and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document.

    Any leads ...

    Re: Printing Problem

Was NS 6 one of the apps you added? I ask only because it lacks a print preview option. If so, you may want to unload it (available at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.netscape.com>http://www.netscape.com</A>) or do you have to have NS6 for your ISP? If IE5.5 has a repair option on the Help key (I have 5.0 at home), you may want to try that first?

Glad you found a solution. I mentioned NS because of your reference earlier to AOL6. I must be wrong, but I was under the impression that AOL and Netscape are synonymous... particularly now that AOL owns NS.

    Karen,
As strange as it seems AOL still uses a cut down version of IE. Hard to believe but true. I am sure that will change someday.
