If the puzzle you solved before you solved the puzzle you solved after you solved the puzzle you solved before you solved this one, was harder than the puzzle you solved after you solved the puzzle you solved before you solved this one, was the puzzle you solved before you solved this one harder than this one?

A boy and a girl are sitting on the porch. "I'm a boy," says the child with black hair. "I'm a girl," says the child with red hair.

If at least one of them is lying, who is which?

    3#
What do these four words have in common?

    month, orange, silver,purple.

    4#
If you were to spell out numbers starting from "one", t would be the fourth character. What character would be the letter a?

Yep! WRT 4#, perhaps I didn't make the instructions clear. Spell out the numbers from one upwards:
    onetwothreefour........etc.
    123456789................etc.
What number in this sequence does the letter a first appear? Does that make sense?

You will have to give us more for #6. Since weight is mass * gravity. Mass and weight do not have the same units so if you want to add them, you will have to chose a mass unit . Should we assume slugs: slug being the unit of mass? On Earth ca 32 slugs weigh a pound

    #4 - Okay, <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"><font color=yellow>I think I understand the question correctly. So, I'll stick to my original answer. Looking at the written form of all the numbers, 0ne,Two,Three,Four, ... NineHundredNinetyNine, I didn't come across any "a". </font color=yellow></span hi>

    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"><font color=yellow>I counted 18,840 letters in the sequence 1 - 999. The next number would be OneThousand, with "a" being the 9th letter. So, the "a" would appear in the 18,849th position.</font color=yellow></span hi>

<span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"><font color=yellow>If the word "and" is used, as in: OneHundred And One, then my answer would change. </font color=yellow></span hi>

    Did I get this right?
    - Ricky
