This may not be new to many of you, but I've just discovered the {INFO} field & thought I'd pass it along, since I've never seen a discussion of it. The field can be used to add information to the Summary tab of the Properties dialog box for a document or other document properties. i.e. it updates DocProperty fields.

e.g. if you enter field braces (Ctrl+F9) & type inside the field:

{ INFO Title "This is my document title" }

the DocProperty Title is updated to reflect This is my document title.

I can think of at least one use for this (although I'm sure the VBA experts have an easier way ). Suppose you have a letter template & would like to name each new letter with a date in the form of YYYYMMDD (4 digit year, 2 digit month, 2 digit day). You could have an autotext entry that would expand LTR into the field

{ info title "{ DATE @ "yyyyMMdd" }" }

When you went to save the document, the suggested name would then be today's date. This is faster than going to Files/Properties/Summary tab & typing in the title & more accurate than typing in the date when you save the document. Anyway, I obviously have too much time on my hands today.
