Report Page Number (97 sr2b)

I've seen this and took notes, but misplaced (lost) my notes on this subject.

A method of changing page numbers in a report. The report I would like change the page numbers in is a catalog. I'm using the ReportHeader for the first few pages. First page is the catalog front cover, second page is a full page greeting, third page I would like I would to start a table of content for the item in the catalog, each is separated by a PageBreak. When I preview and/or print the catalog the items start are page 4 of 37, I like that page to be page 1of ??. Is there a way of doing this. I'd like keep the same report design, if I can.

Thank you kindly for your time

Don't make excuses. It's what you do, not why you didn't.

You could set the Control Source of the page number text box in the page footer to
=IIf([Page]<4,"","Page " & ([Page]-3) & " of " & ([Pages]-3))

This assumes that you don't want to display a page number on the first three pages, and that you want to exclude the first three pages from the page count.
