    Blow out

    Greetings,

I frequently work with documents that have pictures. I often have this experience: the file remains a manageable size (3 or 4 meg) when suddenly, it blows out to some 20 meg or so.
    Can anyone tell me why?
The problem seems to occur most when I float graphics and wrap text around them. [perhaps my initial folly is in attempting to use Word for DTP].
I have disabled "Allow fast saves" and I generally avoid interfering with graphics once they are embedded.

Anybody else have this problem? Anybody shed any light?

    Config: W97 SR2/windows 95
    cheers and regards, Bede.

    Hi Bede,

Is there anything in this thread that helps?
